Introduction

Preparing for future emissions reduction

All engines – diesel, gasoline, propane, and natural gas – produce exhaust gases containing carbon monoxide, non-methane-hydrocarbons (NMHC), and nitrogen oxides (NOx). These emissions are the result of incomplete combustion. Diesel engines also produce particulate matter (PM). As more focus is placed on health and environmental issues, governmental agencies throughout the world are enacting more stringent emissions laws for future non-road diesel engines. These new emission limits will dramatically improve the air we breathe. And while the equipment you already own won’t be affected, new equipment you buy will require new technology to meet the new standards. This new technology may have an impact on your business in the form of some new procedures and costs associated with daily operation and maintenance. The following chart illustrates the emission level reductions for Europe and the United States (37-560 kW, 50-750 hp).

FIORI GROUP gives you the option to select

Almost every model of Fiori Group products will be equipped with different engine emission standards (as an option) in order to provide you with alternatives suitable for your business. If you ever move your equipment from country to country, Stage IIIB / Tier 4 interim equipment may not work in some countries due to a lack of fuel quality, DEF supplies, or field support.
