Performance and mobility
Agile and surprisingly compact, thanks to the hydrostatic transmission and four-wheel steering, the DB X50 self-loading (front-loading) concrete mixers can be considered the most versatile mobile concrete production system. Their off-road capabilities, maneuverability, and extremely compact vehicle (guaranteed by positioning the engine above the oscillating rear axle) allow the DBX50 to move with the same agility as vehicles in smaller categories.
Loading system
The front loading shovel, with an automatic unloading door, facilitates and optimizes material loading, preventing spills during loading into the drum. The standard clamshell bucket, with a 680-liter capacity, ensures high productivity, highly accurate aggregate dosing, and, above all, facilitates cement loading from the upper opening.
CBV
The Concrete Batching Vehicle version integrates an exclusive dosing system with an on-board computer, capable of storing multiple recipes and monitoring the concrete production process in real time. It guides the operator through the mix design, ensuring precise dosing, a homogeneous mix, and consistent concrete quality. The system also automatically compensates for water based on the moisture content of the aggregates, maintaining the correct water/cement ratio. A final report certifies the characteristics of the concrete produced.
Quality concrete
Thanks to the special shape of the double truncated cone drum, double mixing helix and convex bottom, better homogenization and quality of the material is obtained with a reduction in mixing times.
The DB X50 is equipped as standard with a digital electronic flow meter through which it is possible to activate and control the introduction of water into the drum directly from the cabin.
Comfort and visibility
The DB X50 features a large, enclosed, heated cab on the left side of the vehicle, with ergonomic controls (multifunction joystick) to the operator’s right. The slightly rotated, rearward-positioned drum, the large cab windows, and the unique shape of the loading arm maximize visibility. Both during loading and, above all, during pouring, the DB X50 operator undoubtedly enjoys the best visibility in its class among front-loading self-loading concrete mixers.
