The CBV (Concrete Batching Vehicle) is a system that transforms a traditional self-loading concrete mixer into a fully-fledged mobile batching plant, enabling the production of certified-quality concrete in any environment and under any conditions directly on the construction site. Thanks to the electronic control of the batching and mixing process, this innovative system allows for certified concrete quality and ensures that the operator will always produce homogeneous concrete batches, meeting the most demanding mix designs. The CBV is a mobile solution that does not require the use of additional resources (people or machinery) to produce certified-quality concrete.

Why choose CBV

The technology and electronic devices implemented in CBV vehicles are an integrated system that allows the operator to eliminate human errors: it is able to program and store up to 20 concrete recipes, measure the exact quantity of components, control the mixing time, diagnose the end of the mixing process, compensate for the moisture level in the aggregates and add up to 2 additives.

The traditional weighing system of self-loading concrete mixers simply acts as a “scale”, allowing you to control the quantity of the batch, thus giving a misleading idea of being able to control the quality of the concrete.

How CBV Works

  • It measures the various components in mass and with extreme precision;
  • It allows you to control the loading of materials by allowing any excess to be unloaded before placing them in the barrel (tip-off function);
  • Control the mixing time, number of revolutions and speed of the drum;
  • Diagnoses the end of the mixing process and the homogeneity of the mixture by virtue of the stabilization of the pressure sensor installed on the drum reducer;
  • It records the correct water/cement ratio by compensating for the humidity of the aggregates, and automatically doses the flow of water to the drum;
  • Print a report of the mix produced, highlighting any deviations from the programmed recipe.
