The Hybrid Mixing system, available as an optional kit on the DB 560 T, allows the mixer to be powered by a 400-volt electric motor, without using the machine’s main engine.
A particularly advantageous solution for tunnel applications: once the work area has been reached, the engine can be switched off and the drum can continue to be used for mixing and dispensing the concrete using the electric power supply.
When you need to get going again and continue your journey, simply restart the car’s engine.
The result?
During stationary work phases, the machine can operate in electric mode, reducing diesel engine use and emissions, for a more efficient and sustainable construction site.
